PACK AND PACKING

The container and packing are integral part of the product, since they carry out the functions of containing, to wrap, to protect and to identify. The container is the recipient that is in contact with the product; on the other hand the packing is the one that facilitates the operations of transport and handling of the packed products.

The main functions of both are:

- To exhibit the product,
- To allow their conservation,
- To protect and to allow their manipulation, transport and commercialization,
- To reduce reductions and waste,
- To fulfill the rules of having labeled and non tariff regulations of the destination country.
It is necessary to consider that the container and the packing should promote the market aspects as: to communicate in an appropriate way the message, to capture the consumer's attention, to highlight among their shelf neighbors and to speak of the contained product.
